We have slightly changed the system that sends the emailed Direct Debit notices.
These are now plain text only, no PDF attachment. And, temporarily, they are not PGP signed. We are however working on more general way to handle signing and even encrypting of emails to customers.
This is part of a general tidy up of DD collections making the current, somewhat complex, processes for working out when a collection is made in to a more maintainable and concsistent system.
Customers should not see any significant changes, but as ever, if you have any questions, please do contact accounts.
Please note that the notices are now again PGP signed, but they do not currently have a PDF attachment. We are looking in to ways to provide the PDF again in due course.
We are now including a link to a PDF for the confirmation in the signed email.
We are now sending signed plaintext and attached PDF as before.
