We updated a couple of routers this morning - this is routing work, and usually managed without even dropping packet. However, we are seeing some issues with IPv6 at our office at present. It is not clear if this is affecting IPv6 for services in Maidenhead or not yet, and we are working on this now.
It looks like this is affecting IPv4 as well, at least to our offices.
This is looking very much like it is our offices that at suffering and not general services out of Maidenhead, but we are still trying to track down the problem.
This looks to have affected some Ethernet customers out of Maidenhead as well.
We have found the cause - BGP announcements for some prefixes out of Maidenhead were flapping. This has been resolved now, and we understand how it happened. We are looking in to the logic more carefully to work out if this was something we should have been able to predict.
